Organ and Tissue Donation - What Can I Do?
Once you decide to become an organ donor, talk with your family about your wishes. You should also contact your local organ procurement organization (OPO) to find out more about joining the donor registry in your area. In many states, you are able to indicate your wishes of becoming an organ donor on your driver’s license or state ID.
